Novice and expert users alike are going to love UltraMixer DJ. Novices are going to like that the application is fairly easy to use, that they can start deejaying in no time at all. And experts are going to like that the application provides access to a very nice list of features: graphical waveforms, automatic beat matching, digital scratching, mix recording, and more.

UltraMixer is available for all major desktop platforms, mainly Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. Focusing on Microsoft’s operating system alone, the system requirements for running UltraMixer on a PC are: 2GHz processor or better, 32 and 64-bit processors are supported, 2GB or RAM memory or more, multichannel sound card.

The functionality UltraMixer puts at your disposal depends on the version you’re using. You see, there are three UltraMixer editions to choose from: Basic, Home, and Professional. The trial version that you've just installed on your machine allows you to pick and choose. When you launch UltraMixer, a prompt will invite you to pick between the Basic, the Home, and the Professional Edition. Please note that the trial is limited to 60 minutes per session.

You will find the following on UltraMixer’s list of features: supports multiple audio formats, digital replacements for the DJ turntables, manage a music collection, player and mixing waveform, online radio broadcasting, mic playback and recording, supports MIDI controllers, 31-band master equalizer, automatic talkover, asynchronous fading, search for covers on Amazon, search and play YouTube music, use realtime effects, and more.

Go get your deejaying on! Go get UltraMixer as it is ideally suited for the job!

Pros

UltraMixer is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The system requirements for running it on a Windows-powered machine aren’t very high. The trial allows you to test all three UltraMixer editions: Basic, Home, and Professional. UltraMixer is a properly good DJ software with a nice and quite long list of features to offer.

Cons

The trial is limited to 60 minutes per session.
